Inception Date:

The American Traffic Safety Services Foundation (The ATSS Foundation) was formed in 1988.


Core Purpose:

The ATSS Foundation exists to promote roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness programs.


Vision:

Through the activities of The ATSS Foundation, roadway safety has become a cultural priority. The public is aware of the need for roadway safety. Fallen workers are not forgotten and their families are supported. Decision-makers are motivated to invest in sustaining our message and advancing our mission. Improved safety on our roadways has resulted in a decline in work zone injuries and deaths.

The ATSS Foundation is the charitable arm of the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA). ATSSA and The Foundation: Working Together to Make Zero Deaths a Reality. Donations to The Foundation may be tax deductible. The Foundation’s tax identification number is 62-1384292.
